SIGNE VAD workshop og processual udstilling - Død over Dødsstjernen – en sansemodstandsbevægelse
Signe Vad inviterede besøgende til at deltage i arbejdet med at sætte plantevækster på latex og udforme et flag i fællesskab. Imens faciliterede Signe en samtale om flagets mulige betydning og om, hvad det skulle manifestere. Samtalen kredsede om nutid, fremtid, fællesskab og omstilling samt den sansebaserede modstandsbevægelse som en arena for nødvendig modstand, samarbejde, kreativitet og handling.
Signe Vad (hun/dem) arbejdede som kunstner med systemkritik og fremadrettet tænkning med fokus på muligheden for at blive medskaber og udvikle ideer til, hvordan vi kan forestille os anderledes systemer. Hun mente, at det er i transformationen, vi kan udfordre formater og finde nye repræsentationsformer. I sit arbejde benyttede Vad de åbninger, der opstod i samtiden, og indgik samarbejder med kollegaer, klimaforskere og aktivister om rum, hvor indsigt og sanseerfaring kunne gå sammen og pege på nye veje.

Signe Vad invited visitors to participate in the process of attaching plant matter to latex and collectively shaping a flag. During the process, Signe facilitated a conversation about the possible meanings of the flag and what it was meant to manifest. The conversation revolved around the present and the future, community, transition, and the sensory-based resistance movement as an arena for necessary resistance, collaboration, creativity, and action.
Signe Vad (she/they) worked as an artist with a system-critical and forward-looking approach, emphasizing the possibility of becoming a co-creator and developing ideas for how we might imagine alternative systems. She believed that it is through transformation that we can challenge existing formats and discover new forms of representation. In her practice, Vad engaged with the openings emerging in the present and collaborated with colleagues, climate researchers, and activists to create spaces where insight and sensory experience could intersect and point toward new paths.
