SAMTALER MED JORDEN – Performance, workshop og fællesspisning
I november 2025 for anden gang afholdt Syndicate of Creatures og Projektmonstret arrangementet Samtaler med Jorden, hvor deltagere blev inviteret til at tale med – og ikke kun om – jorden.
Det er performance og workshop, der bruger det sanselige, samtaler og forestillingsevenen til at hacke vores vanetænkningen og skabe nye forbindelser – både til Jorden og til hinanden.
Som altid arbejder vi med at udfordre de dominerende strukturer og pseudo-sandheder, der præger vores samfund og vores forståelser af økosystemer og samarbejde. Deltagerne blev inviteret til at sanse, tale og tænke med Jorden i stedet for blot om den.
Aftenen begyndte med performancen "Samtaler med Jorden" af Michelle Appelros og Signe Vad/Syndicate of Creatures. Performancen blev efterfulgt af en fælles samtale og workshops i mindre grupper. Til sidst blev der dækket op til vegansk fællesspisning, hvor samtalerne kunne fortsætte i et uformelt rum.
Vi tror på, at forandring starter i mødet. Samtaler med Jorden fungerer som et fysisk samtalerum, hvor borgere med vidt forskellige forhold til fremtiden, jorden og økosystemet kunne mødes. Her biiver kunst og dialog brugt som redskaber til at udforske, hvordan økosystemkrisen mærkes forskelligt – og til at skabe nye handlemuligheder sammen. Kunsten fungerer som katalysator for erkendelse og nærvær og skaber et trygt, poetisk rum, hvor nye tanker og følelser kan opstå.

CONVERSATIONS WITH THE EARTH – Performance, Workshop, and Communal Meal
In November 2025, Syndicate of Creatures and Projektmonstret hosted Conversations with the Earth for the second time, inviting participants to speak with—and not only about—the Earth. Through performance and workshop formats, the event used sensory experience, dialogue, and imagination to hack habitual patterns of thought and create new connections – both to the Earth and to one another.
As always, our work sought to challenge the dominant structures and pseudo-truths that shape our society and our understandings of ecosystems and collaboration. Participants were invited to sense, speak, and think with the Earth instead of merely about it.
The evening opened with the performance “Conversations with the Earth” by Michelle Appelros and Signe Vad / Syndicate of Creatures. The performance was followed by a collective conversation and workshops in smaller groups. Finally, a vegan communal meal was served, allowing the dialogue to continue in a more informal atmosphere.
We believe that change begins in encounter. Conversations with the Earth functions as a physical space for dialogue, where people with widely different relationships to the future, the Earth, and the ecosystem can meet. Here, art and conversation are used as tools to explore how the ecological crisis is felt differently—and to create new possibilities for action together. The artistic setting acts as a catalyst for insight and presence, creating a safe and poetic space where new thoughts and emotional pathways can emerge.

Samtaler om Jorden - og Udfordrende Lytning – lyd og påstande
Performance, fællessamtale og vegansk fællesspisning, et samarbejde mellem the Syndicate of Creatures(tSoC), Projektmonstret og Maskinhallen på Sundholm.
Samtaler om Jorden er at mødes og reflektere sammen.
Jordens tilstand er i en rigtig dårlig forfatning, løsningen er nye ideer om samliv og samarbejde; for at udvikle en regenerativ livsform for mennesker og andet liv sammen.
Aftenen åbnende med performancen "Udfordrende Lytning – lyd og påstande" en invitation til refleksion af the Syndicate of Creatures.
Med performancen Udfordrende Lytning, var udviklet til at udfordre vores allesammens vedtagne sandheder og åbne for utopiske omtænkninger. Performancen bliver fulgt op at en fællessamtale og workshops i form af gruppesamtaler. Til sidst deltog alle i at dækketop til fællesspisning, så samtalen kunne flyde videre frit under den lækre forberete veganske gryderet.

Conversations About the Earth – and Challenging Listening: Sound and Claims
Performance, communal conversation, and vegan community dinner – a collaboration between the Syndicate of Creatures, Projektmonstret, and Maskinhallen at Sundholm.
Conversations About the Earth is an invitation to meet and reflect together.
The evening opened with the performance “Challenging Listening – Sound and Claims,” an invitation to reflection by the Syndicate of Creatures.
The performance Challenging Listening was created to disrupt our collectively accepted truths and open the space for utopian rethinking. The performance was followed by a communal conversation and workshops in the form of group discussions. Finally, everyone took part in setting the table for a shared meal, allowing the conversation to continue freely over a delicious homemade vegan stew.
