Workshops og seminarer er en del af den kunstneriske praksis
Formålet er at indgå i dialog og sammen med andre tænke verden frem.
Signe Vad arbejder aktivistisk og materielt med økosystemkrisen og klimaretfærdighed. Hendes metode er flydende og følger de strømme som samfundet følger. Hun arbejder alene og i fællesskab med kunstner Nanna Gro Henningsen og human-økolog Michelle Appelros i kunst- og interventionsgruppen the Syndicate of Creatures.
SV arbejder med fællesudvikling af systemkritik og fremadrettet tænkning, med muligheder for at blive medskabere og med ideer for hvordan vi forestiller os anderledes systemer. Hun mener det er i transformationen, vi kan udfordre formater og finde nye repræsentationsformer. I arbejdet inspireres SV af de åbninger som spirer frem i lige nu, hun finder dem hos kollegaer, klimaforskere og aktivister; åbninger hvor indsigt og sanseerfaring kan gå sammen og vise nye veje. Dette materiale bygger grunden til inddragende seminarer og workshops.
Workshops and seminars as part of artistic practice
The aim is to engage in dialogue and envision the future together with others.
Signe Vad works both materially and as an activist on the ecological crisis and climate justice. Her approach is fluid and follows the currents of society. She works individually and collaboratively with artist Nanna Gro Henningsen and human ecologist Michelle Appelros in the art and intervention group, the Syndicate of Creatures.
SV collaborates on developing systemic critique and forward-thinking, offering opportunities to become co-creators and explore ideas for imagining alternative systems. She believes that transformation is where we can challenge formats and discover new forms of representation. In her work, SV draws inspiration from emerging opportunities found among colleagues, climate scientists, and activists; openings where insight and sensory experience can unite to reveal new paths. This material forms the foundation for inclusive seminars and workshops.
